Accreditation: The Smoking Preventon and Counseling modules are accredited by Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.

Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

If you wish to receive credit you must go to the Center for Continuing Education (CCEHS) at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center website, login in and pay the registration fee. You will be directed to CCEHS at the end of each module.

Cost: There is no charge for viewing these activities. There is a $5 charge for each module to receive continuing education credit. If you wish to receive credit, you will be directed to a screen with payment instructions at the end of each module.

Learner Participation: To complete these online modules, you must read text on the screen and link to resources provided for your review. At the conclusion of each module you will be directed to an evaluation that you must complete and submit in order to receive credit.

Most modules include video and/or audio clips to enhance learning, as well as Self-assessments and/or Progress Checks that will help you identify areas of understanding. Each module also has an online "Journal" for you to (1) record your personal responses to reflective questions designed to enhance your comprehension of the content and (2) provide a place where you can take notes. In addition, there is a centralized online "Briefcase" for you to save items that you would like to access later.

Technical Requirements: These modules require an Internet connection, the use of Flash from Macromedia, and speakers for the audio component. You may test your system and download a free Flash player, if needed, here.
