Curriculum Resources

The implementation of the Pediatrics in Practice Health Promotion Curriculum is supported by a variety of curriculum resources that can be used in parallel with the curriculum. The curriculum is composed of:

  • Foundation Sessions: The first session of each module is the Foundation Session and is the minimum that should be completed to achieve competency in a core concept. Some have been developed for interactive learning. All are available for download.
  • Enrichment Sessions: Additional sessions are available in each module for topic enrichment. Learners who are interested in exploring the full curriculum should download the Enrichment Curriculum.
  • Facilitator's Guide: Learners wanting to improve their skills in teaching health promotion content should access the Facilitator's Guide which provides an overview of six teaching strategies and instruction on how to implement them. Some of the teaching strategies have been developed for interactive learning.
